LNT & PARTNERS ADVISES CHUBB ON ITS ACQUISITION OF LIBERTY INSURANCE VIETNAM

LNT & Partners is proud to have co-worked with Debevoise & Plimpton LLP to advise Chubb INA International Holdings Ltd. (Chubb) on the successful acquisition of a 100% equity interest in Liberty Insurance Limited (Vietnam). The deal’s Closing is on 2 February 2026. This landmark transaction serves as a strategic cornerstone in Chubb’s regional expansion of its non-life insurance footprint across Thailand and Vietnam. In this deal, the LNT team acted as a key advisor in navigating the deal through every phase from rigorous legal due diligence, complex structuring, comprehensive drafting and negotiation of transaction documents, obtaining the regulatory approval from the supervising authority and the anti-trust authority, other Closing assistance, to seamless post-Closing support.

Navigating a demanding timeline and a highly regulated landscape, the LNT team helped walk successfully through complex technical hurdles to make the deal, and secure the regulatory approvals.
