LNT & PARTNERS ADVISED ON THE VIETNAM LEG OF STONEPEAK’S CONTROLLING ACQUISITION OF CASTROL

LNT & Partners is proud to have advised on the Vietnam aspects of Stonepeak’s acquisition of a majority controlling interest in Castrol from BP p.l.c..

The deal involves one of the world’s leading lubricants brands, with operations in more than 150 countries.

Working alongside DLA Piper LLP, Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, LNT supported the purchaser on Vietnam-related matters, including legal due diligence, restructuring advice, and transaction document review for Castrol’s Vietnam entities.

This engagement reflects LNT’s continued role in complex cross-border M&A transactions, where local expertise is critical to seamless global execution.
