LNT & PARTNERS ADVISES EQUEST ON US$115.5 MILLION INTERNATIONAL SYNDICATED LOAN FACILITY
LNT & Partners, working alongside White & Case LLP, is proud to have advised EQuest Education Group in connection with its US$115.5 million international syndicated loan facility, with LNT & Partners acting as Vietnam counsel on the transaction.
The facility represents EQuest's inaugural international syndicated financing and was arranged by Standard Chartered Bank and CTBC Bank, with participation from a syndicate of nine international financial institutions. The financing attracted strong lender interest and was oversubscribed.
The financing was undertaken to support EQuest's next phase of growth and the continued expansion and development of its education ecosystem in Vietnam.
The transaction reflects continued international lender appetite for high-growth education platforms in Vietnam and highlights the increasing sophistication of Vietnam-related financing transactions.
The transaction was led by Mr. Bui Ngoc Hong (Partner) and Mr. Le Thanh Cong (Senior Associate), with support from Mr. Ngo Dinh Thien (Associate), Ms. Nguyen Tran Hai Yen (Associate), Ms. Vu Mai Nhu Huynh, Ms. Nguyen Dieu Linh and Ms. Van Le Thanh Thao.
