The Competition Law 2018 requires certain M&A transactions to be notified to the competition authority prior to execution. Although one of the three pillars of the competition law regime, as of date there has been little official guidance on the filing requirement.

Given the uncertainty surrounding the merger control regime, LNT & Partners would like to invite you and your colleagues to a workshop held in collaboration with the Vietnam Competition and Consumer Authority (VCCA): "Merger filing under the Competition Law 2018: a regulator’s perspective". Our guest speaker, Head of the VCCA’s Economic Concentration Division, will be sharing tips on how to determine whether a transaction falls within a filing threshold, how to prepare the notification dossier if it does, and tips for each round of assessment.
