Dr. Nguyen Anh Tuan is a Partner at LNT & Partners and a leading practitioner in Vietnam’s corporate/M&A and competition-law markets. He advises international and regional clients on cross-border M&A, strategic investments, foreign investment and merger control, with particular experience in transactions requiring close coordination across corporate, competition and regulatory workstreams.
His practice combines transactional execution with specialist Vietnamese merger-control and competition-law expertise. He has advised on Vietnam workstreams for major multinational transactions across technology, healthcare, industrials, consumer products, energy, aviation and other regulated sectors, including complex transactions involving merger-control filings and clearance, FDI requirements, transaction structuring and broader competition-law considerations.
In 2026, Dr. Tuan was named M&A Lawyer of the Year at The Asia Legal Awards 2026, following his work on major cross-border transactions including Amphenol’s acquisition of CommScope’s CCS business, HD KSOE’s acquisition of Doosan Vina, and Air Incheon’s acquisition of Asiana Airlines’ global cargo freighter business. These matters involved complex Vietnamese merger-control, FDI and regulatory issues, including an expedited Phase II merger-control review.
Dr. Tuan has also been recognized as Vietnam’s only antitrust expert by Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) for several consecutive years.
