Ms. Duong Thi Minh Han is a Senior Associate in LNT & Partners’ Real Estate and Infrastructure Practice Group. She joined the firm as an Associate in the Real Estate & Infrastructure Practice Group, and subsequently promoted in recognition of her strong performance, technical capability, and dedication to client service.
Han earned her LL.B from the University of Exeter, UK, and pursued advanced legal studies in Commercial and Corporate Law, with a concentration in International Finance and Banking. Her international academic training provides a solid foundation for handling cross-border matters and advising multinational clients.
Lawyer Han has developed comprehensive experience across a wide spectrum of legal areas, including foreign investment, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, real estate development, and complex commercial contracts. Advised on the acquisition of a 7.4-hectare mixed-use development (residential, hotel, and commercial) in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, with a total value of approximately USD 66 million.
Led legal due diligence for a hotel project within a USD 467 million master-planned development in Da Nang, addressing land origin issues to facilitate acquisition.
Led a USD 5 million land-use right acquisition transaction of 1.2 hectare by a pioneered US-invested company in consumer goods in Vietnam– Singapore Industrial Park in Binh Duong
Provided strategic legal analysis on converting a ‘lease’ residential project to enable unit sale sand land use right certificates, supporting client’s sales strategy.
Advised on legal risks in the USD 423 million acquisition of a 14-hectare mixed-use project, including potential revocation, contingent liabilities, and land fee exposure.
Advised on the brown and green field foreign investment in the university and colleges education services in Viet Nam.
Assisted a Singapore-invested manufacturer in a USD 12 million land lease transaction in Bac Ninh, from due diligence through to lease agreement execution.
Drafted and negotiated transaction documents for the USD 106 million sale of office premises in a 28-storey tower in Thu Thiem, Ho Chi Minh City.
Advised a leading Singaporean developer on lease operations for a 170,000 m² shopping centre in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City
Represented a shopping mall landlord in arbitration before VIAC against a food &beverage tenant for VND 4 billion in unpaid rent, securing a favorable award.
Represented a foreign-invested company in an administrative lawsuit against the tax authority over a VND 1 billion corporate income tax miscalculation, resulting in a favorable judgment .
