Ms. Duong Thi Mai Hoa, with more than 19 years of experience as a corporate lawyer, is a Counsel at LNT & Partners. She has successfully advised foreign investors and domestic companies in Vietnam on investment, banking & finance, M&A, and labor matters.
Prior to joining LNT & Partners, she was the Deputy Director of Legal Department of Drilling Mud Corporation – DMC (a 700-employee subsidiary of Petro Vietnam) where she worked on corporate governance, HR management, M&A, dispute settlement and investment cooperation. She also previously worked as in-house counsel for a Japanese enterprise and advised on IRC, ERC, BL procedure in lubricant oil and grease, CC&CM and textile sectors.

Advised Sabeco on complaint proceedings at Vietnam Competition & Consumer Authority (VCCA) regarding unfair competitive practice of coercion;
Successfully represented a China-based consumer electronics manufacturer in a dispute regarding distribution agreement;
Advised an investment holding company on the merits of its dispute regarding Share Security Agreements;
Advised IRC, ERC, BL procedure for clients in the blending lubricant oil and grease, CC&CM, textile sectors and preparation for M&A project;
Advised Petro Vietnam on internal regulation and procedure;
Advised the client (the Respondent) in its first major arbitration before Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) over construction contracts related to 7 disputes during the construction of an expressway project;
Advised PV Gas City on contract disputes in court.
